Back in 1987, I had a college professor that when walking out on the last day of class said, “I’m looking forward to seeing you next semester Dan!” I said to her, “Sorry, but you won’t be seeing me. I’m taking a year off to travel around Europe and will be working at Polydor/Polygram in Germany for most of the time.”

Her reply was priceless! “That’s great Dan! Don’t ever let school get in the way of your education!”
