Doesn't the place look a bit too empty and kind of antiseptic? From pictures I've seen of other guitar factories, you see jigs and workstations, and parts stacked up in the background. Other people working on other guitars, etc.

Maybe the "new" hasn't worn off, yet.

I'm just sayin'

True, but keep in mind these guys complete less than 10 guitars a day

So production is about 2000 a year?
tj

I'd say (from what limited serial numbers I've seen) that they complete an average of about 7 or 8 guitars per day, so yeah, probably something like 2000 or so.

The second picture is in a spray booth; it better be antiseptic, and as dust free as possible, unless you like poor finish quality. The last picture is a set-up area, and probably near the end of the line somewhere, so there wouldn't be much woodworking equipment or jigs around. The first picture has some stuff in the background, and is earlier in the process.

I see what you mean, kostas. Looking again, I notice that these are closely framed, keeping a lot of the background out of the pictures.

I tried a New Haven Guild at our local shop. Not bad....nice sounding, finish was a little thick IMHO.....but still great quality.....the tradition lives!!!!
