Removing the Neck!

Yes, I've slid the bridge over but the string tension pulls it right back. The bigsby move would be the easiest, then the whole guitar will be angled.

A 2003 guitar is practically new. Are you the original owner? If so, Guild should fix it under warranty. Also, can you post pictures? Someone may have a good suggestion after seeing photos. It might not hurt to send a set of detailed pix to Elderly, that way they can tell you what they may be able to do before driving to Lansing.

No, I'm the second owner. I didn't even notice it for the first week, then I fugured the Bigsby was just off-center. I'll probably just leave it the way it is for now. I was really wondering how the finish would be affected with a neck reset.
I have some photos, just no hosting site as of now.

Try photobucket.com -- very easy. Under each photo you upload are three types of links. Just copy the third one (for bulletin boards -- when you click on it it automatically copes) paste it into your post and the picture magically appears!
