The bass looks like Ricks Renaissance series.

I had a Turner Renaissance bass, very nice instruments. They come with Thomastic Acousticore strings that were designed for this bass’ piezo pickup. They sound to me like a big acoustic guitar with those strings. I also used it with standard TI Jazz flats and it sounded great.

I had a Turner Model 1 guitar as well, great guitars. I have a Model 1 bass and love it!
