I read that guitarist Michael Ward has passed away on April 1st at 57 from Diabetes complications. I first saw him 30+ years ago at clubs in San Francisco a few times playing guitar in John Hiatt's band. I was always impressed by how huge his guitar tone was live. Sometimes on a Gretsch, sometimes with a Gibson SG. Later, of course, he was in the Wallflowers.
This is from 1993 when he was in Hiatt's backing band called The Guilty Dogs.
