Currently (as of the era of this thread), a 1979 Giannini 12 string is for sale on Reverb. For those concerned, it appears the strings have been neatly trimmed. From a close-up image, that may have occurred back in 1979, when it looks the strings were originally installed:

There is one locally that I might check out after tax season. It's listed at $950, and the sound on these is great.

Oh very nice, WW. If you get the opportunity to play it, let alone purchase it, I look forward to hearing all about it. I am with Chaz... I really like the body shape.

I always wanted to veer a bit into 12 string, but any 12 string I bought in past I would always sell...I am not giving up yet :)

Looking forward to the upcoming multitude of 12-string string posts...

Suggestion for retention:

Go after a body size that is comfortable to hold. If she has the looks you want, consider that a plus. Upon your first encounter, ignore your initial reaction. Send her out for the finest spa treatment in the most expert hands you can afford. Your objective, upon her return, is to have her respond to your lightest touch. You will never want to send her away.

Thanks Christopher. Good to see you back on LTG too, not the same when you are not around.
I am not really gassing for any guitar as of late, but my wife did mention a 12 string, so will go take a look when I come up for air from owing the government :)
