Ronnie helped so many people get started, he is the real deal...The hawks nest, his club in Toronto was a bit rowdy at times, one story I heard was that someone who was getting out of hand was told to settle down by Ronnie who was doing a set, then he did a few one arm push ups while on stage, also heard the party began after the club closed.. crazy times...Robbie Robertson has been a huge musical influence on the music scene
another story was that Ronnie went into the Rolls Royce dealer, went up to a Silver Cloud, and kicked the tire, the sales guy came running...now this was a time when blue jeans were very unfashionable, he was wearing blue jeans and a T shirt and running shoes. He asked the sales guy if he could take it for a drive, and the sales guy said no...Ronnie then went into see the manager who walked him to the car and handed Ronnie the keys...after bringing the car back, he reached into his blue jeans pocket, pulled out a roll of thousand dollar bills and paid cash to the manager, in front of the sales guy.... :lol: :lol: Gordon Lightfoot wrote a talkin' blues, Talkin' Silver Cloud blues...Steffan

It wasn't long till I came out the bossman followed up with a shout
