Hello folks. I stupidly misplaced my saddle when I got interrupted by a home-office move. Does anyone know what radius the top is? Is it important to replace only with a non-compensated saddle? And is the width 3/32 or just a little less than that (it looks like 3/32" on my ruler, but online info says 14" radius and 2.5mm width) Thanks.

Saddle should match
fretboard radius, not
top radius. (Just in case that wasn't a typo
)
'Board radii have been reported from as little as 9 all the way up to 16" and the 14" radius in the spec you see would be for the fretboard but that sounds a bit "flat" to me. They standardized on 12" radius in '96. Also top radii are usually measured in feet.
There are gauges available to measure fretboard radius.
Saddle thickness: Don't remember ever seeing an actual spec but it for sure it would have been in English not metric units, and may have varied if for example a UST was installed.
Best to measure actual saddle as long as fit is still good. Sometimes the slot can be a bit enlarged from years of saddle leaning forward under string tension.
Another suggestion is to contact Bob Colosi who may have a drop-in ready to go and might know the specs as well, having supplied lots of Guild saddles to members here over the years.
