Considering all the places it DOES let you go I'd say it was erring on the side of an abundance of tolerance.Yeah, my ESET software flagged it and said, "Nope, you're not going there!!" And that's good enough for me!!
Same here.My browser and malware program wouldn't even let me open the page, so I am definitely falling
on the 'Scam" side.
I got that on my Facebook too. I don't want a Gibson, even a free one, so I guess they targeted the wrong schmuck. My small contribution to the battle against spammers.There’s a Gibson one on Facebook that shows a lady standing next to a lot of boxed Gibsons talking about giveaways. But I don’t dare click. Might be real or not. But one thing I always remember from my Sociology of Violence class in college (I think it was that class) is that the scammer always relies on the greed of the victim to be able to pull off their scam.
Not saying anyone here is greedy, just that it is that part of one’s desire that they play on. That thought enters the scamee’s mind “It’s probably a scam. But what if it’s not?!?!”. Doh!
