Searching for my old S280

Searching for my first Guild S280 Flyer. White with blue zebra stripes and Kahler tremolo. Hard case also. Purchased new from the factory at Daddario's in CT in 83/84 and sold it in VA Beach in 93/94. Any information on this guitar would be appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome and good luck with your search. Keep and eye on eBay and Reverb.com. Even try image searches on Google. You may see it out there somewhere. I was just playing my black one with a maple fingerboard this week. It has the stopbar hardtail and passive humbuckers. Love the way it sounds and plays. Again, best of luck with your search.

Thank you. I am searching using all the advice I get from everyone. I still remember how easy it was to play and I liked the Kahler better than the Floyd Rose system...

Can you remember the headstock shape of your one?



And when saying "blue zebra stripes", something like the left pattern? Or "more Zebra" like the right one?

I believe it is the headstock on the top left and definitely the zebra striped one on the right.

That definitely looks like mine. If it has the Kahler then it would be the exact same as the one I purchased new. I don't know how many were made with that same setup and finish. I haven't been able to find any images of it no matter how much I have looked online. Thank you for responding.
