I don't think you were here when it all went down.

This guitar was purchased after a year-long quest to find one, because I had sold the S300AD that was my only guitar for 25 years. The fine members of LTG aided me in my obsessive quest.

I just played one hanging in a local used store last week, GAD. If I wasn't in such a purging-simplifying mode, I'd be sorely tempted. It was the mahogany body, and it felt sooooo good. I'm glad I didn't plug it in, 'cuz I would have found myself hawking my LP for it.

Him - an S300 with HB-1's. Sunburst too. 'hog? I forget. Plague has it now.

Guilty as charged. I liked the DiMarzio's, the sunburst finish and the lack of a pickguard on the S300A-D better ... at the time. I would still regret parting with the '77 S-300 -- but not selling it to Plague -- if I hadn't replaced with with a few other 'hog-bodied, HB-1 equipped Guilds.
