These may not be across the Pond yet but they don't seem to be a Sweetwater exclusive..

As much as I adore DeArmonds (even if they sounded like S**T, the looks alone do it) you can still purchase US Starfires of any of the three different provenances for the same money or less... perhaps wait until these start to pop up on the used market.

Was this one of the new ones or a DeArmond Starfire Special?

I can't find any of the new ones in Europe. They still seem to be Sweetwater only.
It was one of the new ones. The shop has a second one in stock now. ( Guitar Bar in Antwerp, Belgium). They do ship internationally.

Also interesting that the Dynasonic one is 50% more than the non Dynasonic one. Why?

(In Europe, btw. The Korean models are for some reason more expensive in the US. Probably tariffs)

I only have one Guild guitar, and it’s a 1966 SFlll, so I have nothing to compare it to pickup wise. However I love the original pickups in mine and they give me just about any tone type I need. I’ve seen the SFll Dyna Sonic models but what do they do that’s any better than the original pickups??

"better" is subjective, they're different. You can get things from single coil pickups you can't get from humbuckers and vice versa.

Different sonic profile; more even output across the frequency spectrum. It still has midrange prominence but less than the minihums, and a lot more highs. I love them.
