Hi all. The neck on my '97 Starfire IV is one of the most comfortable and playable I've ever had. I'm getting ready to order a custom guitar from Carvin and I'm trying to replicate the feel of the Guild neck. I am not sure what the fingerboard radius is on the Starfire IV. Have seen 12" mentioned, but it feels thinner than that. I thought I'd check here. Can anyone help? Thanks!

I'm not sure what the radius is on the SF IV, but IMO the fingerboard radius doesn't make the neck feel thinner. The radius is the curve of the f'board - a larger number will feel/be flatter.
Thanks for the pointer, Jeff. I'd read that the smaller radii were a little more "comfortable" and to me that translated to a thinner feel, but maybe you're right that the radius is a less critical parameter.
