Still very happy with my OM140SB - Is it the Mahogany?

Thinking about moving a couple more guitars so I've been playing my Martin OM21 Special and my Gibson J15 -
which are both fantastic well played guitars in feel and tone but then
I picked up my OM140......
(non-cutaway Sunburst) this morning with old strings and I just still can't believe how much I love this guitar.
Not sure if it is the Mahogany back and sides but comparing to my OM 150
I seem to prefer the OM 140 now more than ever. OM140 Burst 2.jpg

I have the same guitar. I could be satisfied with this and a 12 string.....mine is that good!

Er....maybe a few maple bodies thrown in there too.

I've said it before.....my only gripe is the cheesy Chesterfield.

So glad to hear that. I bought my OM140 as a back up/second OM to my OM150 but
the OM140 has become my go to. Just finished playing it all morning.
Leave room in the coffin - I'm taking mine to the grave.

The quality of solid wood imports is pretty good these days. There are many who refer mahogany to other woods. I for one could not discern African from Honduran in a blind listening test with any certainty. Enjoy your guitar.
