Hi there,
Does anyone know whether the potentiometer shafts on the T-bird ST (P90) are split or solid, as well as the exact width of these? I am buying lower-profile potentiometer knobs for another guitar and would like to include a pair for this one provided that they fit (I recently bought the T-bird on Reverb and am yet to receive it; guess I could measure them myself when I receive it, but maybe my measurement would be wrong, and maybe others will also need this information :) )

Thanks in advance

I assume by "shard" you mean "shaft". They are split shaft. As for width I don't recall but I'm sure we'll get the answer shortly. Be advised that there is a right number of splines on the shaft for NS knobs. I'm not at my computer so hopefully someone else can pull up the relevant thread(s).

They are most probably 18 spline split shaft, the pots are Korean made. But hopefully somebody who has one can confirm.

Yes, they are 18 spline shafts. If you are getting knobs with a set screw, I would recommend cutting up an aluminum soda can, and making a shim or three to fit in the split. Put a drop of nail polish on the shim(s) when they are in position to hold them in place.
That way, you never have to worry about crushing the shaft with the setscrew.
