My 62 T100d has original binding both back and front. Is this unusual?

Hi slab,

Yes, that would be somewhat unusual, but not unheard of. Tell us more, or better .......... show us pictures!

Sincerely,

Serial# 19287 Franz pickups, exact same size as my 66 Starfire. Hoboken made. Sunburst, binding back and front. A magnificent instrument. I do not know how to post pictures to the site but would be happy to email you some

Hello again,

Looked in my database and it looks like your T-100D was one of the guitars that was originally meant to become a T-200.
You will not find anything about the T-200 in The Guild Guitar Book, but here's a link to a thread from some time back that should explain it all:

http://www.letstalkguild.com/phpBB2...80307&hilit='Single+cutaway+Starfire'#p180307

Would love to see a photo. Go ahead and mail it to me at: guitarchives@wxs.nl

Sincerely,

Hans Moust

Hello folks,

Here's one of the photos that 59slab e-mailed to me.

T200_T100D.jpg

It's actually the guitar that was the subject of the thread, of which I posted the link. A good example of a T-200 that was turned into a T-100D.

Sincerely,

Hans Moust
