hello, new to this place (after reading a lot, this seems like the usual staring phrase :D ) and yes, a question about the pickups in my T100D (which has a funny notation: guy writing it on the sticker probably just did an X500, because originally there was "T500D", with the "5" being gone over a lot of times so it is a "1" now -haven't got a decent photo, but if you're interested I'll make one).

so the question: they're not Mickey Mouse, nor Franz?

(hope this works, since I'm new and all :) )

great picture!

btw, here some extra pics of the PUPs (finally got some time to screw them out), it looks like the screws were replaced (see the 'rings' in another colour...)?

and I found out the wooden bridge (bottom) appears to be cracked along one of the lines in the wood... :-(

anyways: are these hagstrom pickups like Walter suggested?

cheers!

thanks littlesongs, both for the information and the welcome.

So it's a Guild manufactured 'thingy' :)

The crack probably can be filled with some wood glue (friend of mine knows more about it and will deal with it...).

Cheers!

Hello steffenson,

Never noticed this thread when it was originally posted, so here's my somewhat belated reply.

First the model designation on the label:

I looked up the serial number in the ledgers of 'final assembly' and found out that your T-100D was completed on Monday September 28, 1964. The reason for the writing mistake was the fact that on that same day, the worker had done several T-50s, which must have been the reason he started another label with T-5.

so the question: they're not Mickey Mouse, nor Franz?

No, they're Guild pickups.

Sincerely,

Hans Moust
