So I have been stalking a 1980 Martin-Era Takamine F-349, and was looking for some comments or criticisms on these guitars from that era.
This is a copy of a D-17 Mahogany Dread, was barely played, and comes about as pristine as a 34 year old guitar comes.
This one has the Martin-style script, the same exact headstock, and I know that these guitars are laminate top and side builds, but I wondered if anyone had any experience good or bad with these Taks?
Value-wise, I can buy it for $325 maybe $300, and did not know if, for the guitar, this was a reasonable amount, or should a 1980 Japanese Acoustic bring more in the $200-$250 area?
Thanks for the help, and anyone with one of these Lawsuit( but not really a lawsuit) Era Taks, please give me your two cents.
Thanks.
