Pretty guitars!

Also, looks like you've got a neat pre-war home there, if my eyes are telling it to me straight. Seems like I spy a telephone nook peeking out from the hallway. Reminds me very much of the house I grew up in back in TX.

What a pair! Excellent work! Just curious, what's the weight difference between the elder Bluesbird and the newer one? I've got a '77 M-80CS and it is heavy, so I'm curious about how it compares with the newer Bluesbird, since I have never held one of those.

And speaking of '70s Bluesbirds, there's a black '74 M-75 on Craiglist in Phoenix with original case for $800.

The bluesbird is lighter by a little bit, and the chambered body helps this, but the m75 is not a real heavy guitar anyway. I havent ever held an M80

My black M-75 is much lighter than my natural M-75, even though both are from 1973.
And my M-80 is the heaviest. LP kinda heavy.

I play jazz with my Guilds. I'm also a player, not a collector. My Guild's get live jazz and swing music love, and even though I am kinda crochety, I try not to dis other folks for being a different color, sex or age than I am.
