Well, Treem and I had one heck of a blockbuster weekend.
The 1970 Blackbird AND a beyond-rare M30 are now his, and I have finally convinced him to let go of the 74 Blackfire.
This deal was a great/sad/great deal for both of us. After chasing after my friend's M-30 (that I always thought was an M-20) for the better part of 20 years, I finally got it and goes and tries to commit suicide. And by some miracle it now plays better than ever. Wow, that's a tough one to let go. Dont' think I'll ever find another one that plays as well.
I know Treem feels the same way about the Blackfire. At least he can cry himself to sleep holding his new 1970 Hollowbody Bluesbird.
