Nuuska and W Wood - that is a song I have seen noted or heard since the early 70's....when I played it often with a couple of church youth choirs (on a Yamaha FG230 which I still own!). Thanks for the memories...... perhaps I will now have to dig up my books and see if I can still cover that tune!

I cannot play it at all, but the tune is on Kottke's "armadillo" cover album (6 and 12 string guitar). I do recognize the melody. those old red label yammie FG230s are awesome!

It is a red label from 1970 or 1971 (its serial number is odd compared to the decode charts) and I acquired it new in 1971. Everyone that ever played it was impressed and that is Exactly why I still have it. To date, the only one to better it (IMHO) is the G312 I bought from Chazmo (that he got from someone else here at LTG and he got it from Hans). (caveat - I have never yet had my hands on an F512 but no dread has come close!)
