Hi Everyone, I’ve got a chance to get an ‘87 GF30… I like guitars of the Gruhn/Walker era but never played this model. Anyone with experience? Thanks.
Really helpful about the versatility, thanks!I have one, it’s great. They sound great with bare fingers which is mostly how I play but really good strummed with a pick. Great all around guitar for rock, folk and blues.
Thanks for that… funny, but it’s a kind of guitar I’ve never owned (I suppose most of my energy always gone classical!) Feeling positive …!A GF30 (or a GF25) has long been on my shortlist. The GF30 is reminiscent of the original, arch back F40. I don't think you can go wrong with a min-jumbo, and the arch back models have their own magic.
