Man, this is tough. You know, to me, being a true baseball fan isn't just about pulling for your team, it's about pulling for the game. You always like to beat the best and it never makes me happy to lose one of the best......even an league arch rival. Mariano Rivera is a class act and always has been, and to see him go down like this should be painful for any baseball fan. To be the best, you've got to beat the best.....and Rivera is one of the best. I hope he makes it back.

He was scheduled to meet with doctors today, the team doctor and an orthopedic surgeon, and the report was that there were complications and no decision has been made to operate. Now, these complications could be a number of things, however it is not a good sign.
