Our nephew Rob McCoury on banjo and his brother Ronnie on mandolin. If you ever get the chance, SEE THEM!! They're amazing. Also, with their Dad as the Del McCoury Band.

Saw them years ago, great show. We don't get lot of bluegrass around here, although there are a few festivals in CT and MA. My wife and I are not real good with crowds these days, not to mention I have trouble driving at night!

The Del McCoury Band is my favorite and I go see them every time they are at the Ryman. Have seen all your McCoury family and boy can the pick and sing!!!
I love to listen to Del aas a host on the Sirius Bluegrass radio channel.

We got invited to the Del McCoury Band & Preservation Hall Jazz Band concert at the Smith Center here in Vegas. Probably one of the BEST CONCERTS EVER!! That combo was divine!! Rob told us to come back after but the crowds were nuts and it got just a bit nuts, so we just went home. Met up with him and his wife the next day for lunch.

Also, saw the Travelin' McCourys about 5 years back here at Brooklyn Bowl. That time we went backstage. Got to say hi and also talk to his guitarist who was playing, of all things, a Breedlove!! What a fun time.

I saw Del McCoury and the boys at a concert hall in the 90’s. This was back when they would gather around a single mike to sing harmony and take solos, like the old radio broadcast days. It was quite the choreography! The opening act was Peter Rowan and Tony Rice. Great show!
