Well ..... ahem ..... I love to visit fabric shops. Probably something to do with being in touch with my feminine side. When I see something I like, I'll buy some, and have a local seamstress run me up a shirt or waist-coat.
Trouble is, a couple of times she's forgotten that she's working on a garment for a male and has transposed the buttons / buttonholes !

That is pretty neat. There was a brief period in my life when my mother would make clothing out of fabric I identified. However most of my selections ended up being unfashionable or otherwise unworthy of the effort she put into making them. You have a much better eye than I did.

Thank you Fro.

My greatest ( sartorial ) desire is to have a Buzzy Bee waistcoat but, alas, the fabric that I have in mind just isn't made !

I've long thought that, one of the great things about being a pro-musician would be that you could dress in your very own way, with whatever the hell you liked. I always admired SRV's dress sense. Not that I'd ever wear a dress, you understand !! My female side ain't that strong !!

Not sure where you stand on organized religion but if it is not a problem for you, cassocks can get pretty dress like and stylish. Choir or clergy.

In view of the ongoing sartorial discussion with the esteemed Coastie, I went looking for a picture of my most flamboyant shirt. It had been referred to in the Tribute To Coastie thread but it turns out that the Hatted One apparently manages his PhotoBucket account by deleting photos. Coastie tribute links are either dead ends or point to Walter Tribute photos. Just FYI. Some photos probably have no business remaining on the internet.

Well, let there be no doubt ........... a cash-in on the greatest fairytale ever told. And, those will be my last words on the subject

I find Middle Eastern dress quite fascinating and something I've been meaning to follow. And Elizabethan costume, particularly hats. But while I can appreciate a smart Hatt ( and you have to round here ! ), I don't like wearing 'em !

From the better late than never file, here's our own Bill Ashton showing off my incredible feeble Photoshop skills

Sorry I'm late to the party! My daughter wouldn't let go of the guitar after I put the stickers on, so she gets to be in the shot instead! I have a feeling that F312 might not belong to me much longer...
