Unable to update my account's email

Hi.
I tried to update my e-mail address in my account details, but the system does not me allow to.
I hit the "Change" button close to my current e-mail, then a confirmation window pops up for just a fraction of second and I am brought back to the account details page. No chance to update my e-mail address.
What else can I do?

That's weird, Carlo. I am not seeing the same problem. What are you using for a browser?

chazmo I am using Firefox.
BTW I have the very same problem here and on another forum (The Gear Page). The rest of innumerable forums and webistes that I visit do not give me any trouble

Thanks for the info, Carlo. Have you tried clearing your cookies and starting over? Anyway, I'm hoping GAD can help you out. It would also be interesting to see if you have the same issue with Chrome on your computer. Good luck!

Yes chazmo, I cleared the cache and started over, more than once.
Also, same exact issue with Chrome.

Ah!!! OK, Carlo, this one will need @GAD's help then since moderators like me cannot modify your profile for you. I hope he can square it away for you. Your account (like mine) is rather old and perhaps something has gone cuckoo in the software migrations over the years. My account doesn't display this weird timing out popup that you're referring to... Good luck!

Do you have a smartphone? If so can you try it from there?

I tried again fron an iPad and I succeeded.
So there must be something odd in my notebook...
