Oh, I see. I misunderstood. But, why do you think they wanted to shut down the Tacoma brand, jwsamuel? You think it was just for the purpose of building Guild guitars? Maybe so. I'm pretty sure that wasn't the case in New Hartford, as Fender did not kill Ovation or Hamer. Fender did, however, continue a migration to Asian production that had already begun under KMC's ownership.
But anyway, fair enough. I don't have any knowledge on what happened with shutting down the Tacoma brand. It's a shame, really. I liked a lot of those guitars!
