Summer was kicking up the last 2 weeks, but this week it's gone on vacation, here. Probably just mid 90s at best.

We've had three days of lovely weather. At tad humid (for us!!) and then today it started to creep up. Now we're back to summer but not too bad. Woody, any time people say it's hot here, I go, "Well yeah, but not Arizona hot or Palm Desert hot, you know?" They just usually look at me weird. But I'm kind of used to that..... :ROFLMAO::p:oops::rolleyes:🔥

Here in Texas we don't have warm weather. :ROFLMAO: It's freaking HOT. August in Texas.........105 and 75% humidity..........makes me appreciate fall each year.

My buddy Jason has been lamenting the heat in TX..... it's relentless. He lives in Grand Prairie which is kinda between Dallas and Ft. Worth?? I think??

And if you're like me, you try and keep a beautiful yard, but with 105 each day, and a strong south wind each day, it's like blowing a furnace on the yard. My sprinklers simply can't keep up. $500 water bill last month.

With water shortages and such lawns and non-desert landscaping have been outlawed. If you have grass you're going to pay like crazy to keep it. So, we have nice plants that use little water, but the vast amount of space is rocks. Otherwise, you'll get hit with a huge bill. Still the backyard can look okay. At least for the desert....

Sorry for all the debris. Haven't had the yard guy out in a while.
