That's a great story and a nice guitar too. Maybe they should finally put out the Josh White Model. A 12 fret Guild with a slotted headstock would be very cool.

Hi guys,

I think there was also another thread on this one where Bill Kamen weighed in with his memories of what happened when Ovation issued the Josh White model, but I cant find it....

Havent seen Bill on here for a while either come to think of it....

Hi to all,

My first post. This may have been mentioned previously. The Josh White Guild in the History Detectives segment is for sale at Elderly Instruments in the U.S. for alot of greenbacks. A beautiful guitar and great artist.

Hello Dan and welcome
Good to see you hear at LTG.

I see that you have a few Mossman guitars.
A friend of mine had a Great Plains and a Golden Era that I was very impressed with.
He sold them to make room for a custom built guitar.
I wish that I would have had a chance at his Golden Era. That was a great guitar.

Thanks for the welcome Taylor. I have always loved Guilds for their superb tone and action. I've owned three over the years. I do have a weakness (wife says illness) for Mossman's. We all have our fav's but for me what Stu Mossman wanted to create and did, is something special. I wish you'd had a chance at the Golden Era as well. Thanks again.
