I think it was at LMG III, did Mark Dronge tell the story about how he gave a guitar to "some celebrity" and that either he was made to, or his father went to the airport to get the guitar back?

And I am sorry...really sorry...but I really want a Gibson Firebird like Brian Jones is playing in that Ed Sullivan video...😖

As much as I think Firebirds are cool, and in theory would love to have one, they are incredibly awkward to play.

It might not be as bad standing up, but the waist on a Firebird is back by the bridge:

wheras on most conventional guitars, it's somewhere around where a middle pickup would be, if there was one. It's like an SG, only worse.

Also here: airport luggage "x-ray" of my nightbird. Solid under bridge and pups. Blonde part is hollow.

Interesting. Judging by the inlays, it's an X-2000, yes? IIRC, Gruhn had left by that point.
