Hello All
For the last while I’ve been looking for a vintage Guild single coil big box without a lot of success (I’m getting a little jazzy these days). As these things happen I was at my favorite family owned guitar shop (operating since 1975) this weekend having one of my Guild acoustic setup when I spotted this beauty on the wall. So while waiting I sat down with it and gave it a play. Well I guess you know the rest of the story. Yes I left the store with two guitar case in hand. This is a 1999, made in Korea, X-135 De Armound by Guild. A bit of research tells me this model was only manufactured for about five years. I don’t have a lot of experience with the big guitars except my 16” Hagstrom HJ500 but this big girl sounds amazing through my Blues Junior. Quite frankly I have hardly put down since I got it home. This guitar gets two big thumbs up

Thanks Treem for posting the pics. Done it before, not sure what I did wrong.

If your DA X135 is anything like my DA Starfire Bass, the level of workmanship is quite high for a "cheap" guitar. Play it in good health!

Beautiful Pacific NW!
Prior to buying an X-500 and an X-170 I owned both the X-135 and the X-155.

Great guitars and one of the best used values on the open market by far!

Congratulations, she's a beauty!

That's very pretty. Always wanted to try one of these, but haven't had the chance. If it plays and sounds up to how it looks, you're set.
