Hello All
For the last while I’ve been looking for a vintage Guild single coil big box without a lot of success (I’m getting a little jazzy these days). As these things happen I was at my favorite family owned guitar shop (operating since 1975) this weekend having one of my Guild acoustic setup when I spotted this beauty on the wall. So while waiting I sat down with it and gave it a play. Well I guess you know the rest of the story. Yes I left the store with two guitar case in hand. This is a 1999, made in Korea, X-135 De Armound by Guild. A bit of research tells me this model was only manufactured for about five years. I don’t have a lot of experience with the big guitars except my 16” Hagstrom HJ500 but this big girl sounds amazing through my Blues Junior. Quite frankly I have hardly put down since I got it home. This guitar gets two big thumbs up
NB
Thanks Treem for posting the pics. Done it before, not sure what I did wrong.
