Well, it doesn't seem to be a Starfire. What is it?

Not sure...

The odd-looking white Starfire that had been listed in the Orlando area CL has vanished. Maybe this is the same guitar?

Guitar is said to be located in Florida...

Yikes! What a ding! Looks like someone replaced the nut the wrong way....

There's a Q&A exchange now on the offering page that provides some info.

Hi tuna,
well, the label shows it what it is (or was), a Starfire 4 in Sunburst color with S/N 95755, which makes it a 1974 guitar. It is refinised in that new white color, and lots of parts were replaced with other parts (wrong knobs, maybe new pots?, new golden bridge, bigsby, different switch-tip or switch, switch mounted at new position, goldern tuners (and I thought the Schaller's would have had Guild written on them?), different nut,... Otherwise the seller provided so many pictures that it is easy to see in which condition the guitar really is today.
The HSC is also not original, but looks at least new.

Thanks. In spite of all those modifications and minor damage, it is a pretty good looking guitar. The bidding is up to US$900 now with less than two days to go. I won't be bidding, but I am interested, nonetheless.
