I'm sure some of you have seen this already, but I just ran across it. Nicely done. Montgomery would have been 100 this past March.

It’s amazing to watch how relaxed he is when playing, even when he’s spinning out complex lines like there’s no tomorrow.

Yes, I call it "joy" on his face when he plays. The only other player who seems to exude that look is Tommy Emmanuel when he plays. The only footage I've seen of Montgomery not smiling while he played was of his appearance on Ronnie Scott's show done in London -- the appearance where Scott is talking about him right in front of him in the third person like he was some sort of wierd exhibit. Montgomery did't look amused to be at that gig.

Wonderful documentary. I was inspired by Wes's dedication and hours of practice. It wasn't just "natural talent"!
