All BS aside, Best of luck with your listing Cougar! That is one beautiful and rare Guild, Daddy likes the Blue.

Thanks, TX. It's a great 12er, but it just can't quite beat the burst Corona-built JF30-12 that you alerted me to that was down in Dana Point a couple, few years ago...

That is how I tell if one of my guitars has Brazilian Rosewood or not. I put a string bikini on them and you can immediately tell which one is Brazilian and which one is not.:biggrin-new:

Gives new meaning to the term “Dating your Guild”

GAD, u don‘t need that thing. But maybe if u had a maple topped Nightingale in the same blue finish that needed to find its match, then u would.

I am just providing you with a reason to buy the guitar. We both know you will probably not sell either one, at least not until you write an article comparing the two, and the sonic differences between each finish color, based on their respective chemical properties.

Cougar, one more price reduction and you will be getting a PM from GAD.

Don't you make me buy a gas chromatograph!

Bad time of year for selling I feel. I'm surprised I haven't got a hit from anyone on the f30r. At least you got a offer . Lol

I once worked as a lab tech for the NYS Health Department. I am quite familiar with both thin layer (plate) and gas chromatography. "Will work for Guilds" :)

Nice. I used to work in a chemical manufacturing plant (I managed the mainframe) and got to learn about all sorts of cool stuff like explosion-proof keyboards, what to do during explosions, and perhaps most fun of all, actual explosions. It was my first sighting of an actual fireball. Good times.

Yeah, lots of watchers, but only one unreasonable offer. For months. Then suddenly numerous offers all within a couple of days. Weird! Anyway, it ** SOLD ** Took a bit of a hit, but I'm glad to get back down to 8 guitars. Although I guess I do need a "travel" 6-string I can throw in the back of the FJ Cruiser and take up to Idaho when we head up there..... :eek:nthego:
