Performed by Spike Milligan and Peter Sellers in 1955. It would have been the first single by The Goons but EMI refused to release it, fearing a lawsuit from its music publisher. It was finally released in 1990!

The Goon Show was an extremely popular and influential radio show. A big influence on Monty Python, The Beatles and much of the British comedy that has followed them. They were Spike Milligan (the main writer), Peter Sellers, Harry Secombe and Michael Bentine (first two series only). One of their best known songs was this delightful piece of nonsense, The Ying Tong Song. Harry Secombe speaks his lines on this and the other Goons songs he performed on during the 1950's, due to his being contracted to another label as a singer.
