Hey Guys,

Two things,

1) I'm 'improving' my '02 Bluesbird, the one with the added Bigsby B12: http://www.bigsby.com/vibe/products/vib ... igsby-b12/ To that end, I want to replace the current but 'non-original' bridge. I don't know the brand, but the current bridge is stamped 't.s-r' on the bottom-side.The bridge has saddles that look like they are roller saddles, but aren't! 'Faux-Roller', if you will. Clever.....

I'm looking at the Schaller Roller bridge at Stew Mac: http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Bridges,_ta ... ridge.html

Why a roller bridge? Well, I want to try a 'roller' because there is so much down-force with the B12 Bigsby with the extra tension roller. By the way, I don't use the Bigsby very much. In fact, it's fair to say that I bought the guitar in spite of the Bigsby, because I like the neck and the tone so much. I mention this because I know that some people are going to suggest either a stock tune-a-matic bridge or a Bigsby bridge and I don't have much interest in either of those for this specific application.

StewMac says the Schaller bridge has 14" of saddle radius, which sounds pretty flat. I'm wondering how that would work with the radius of the Bluesbird fingerboard. Any body have any ideas?

2) I would also like to find the original bridge and tailpiece for this guitar, if only to see how the guitar sounds when they are installed. Our friend Hans says the end-of-the era Westerly Bluesbreakers used a Gotoh GE103B-T bridge (in Chrome) and a GE101AM tailpiece. Maybe that's what the early Corona Bluesbreakers use, too. Anybody have any of those they'd like to get rid of??

Thanks, Harry

Harry, the Gotoh GE103B-T bridge and GE101A tailpiece are available in shops, and not very expensive.

Thanks, Ralf. I'd found the bridge, but not the tailpiece.
