I like the part about the black bear in the front yard. Pics?

Joe

My wife got a couple pics but couldn't get them off her camera. We'll have to take her card to CVS to get at them. The bear actually showed up twice. The first time I yelled at him/her and it left. The second time he/she just ignored me while I was yelling my lungs out. After it left, my wife was too afraid to go out and bring in the bird feeders so she had me volunteer. Fear is a good thing cause it makes you cautious. :)

No more mortgage is the BEST NEWS EVER!!! Congrats on that one!! Bears make me nervous. They're big and scary. Lucky we have so few here in Vegas......

Yep, I'd pretty much given up on the caged concept till recent discussion here. Started playing around with it again & realized I'd unwittingly develped some barre cord skills. Still struggling with the D shape, mostly because of an arthritic knuckle on the index finger of my fretting hand.

It started to make sense to me when I stopped worrying about major scales and just focused on the blues scales. Then all the boxes linked together and I could actually understand what was going on. Sometimes the obvious is wicked hard to comprehend.

I have a friend who lives close by and has black bears on her property. They're attracted to her bird feeders, which they've mauled in the past.
So, with that in mind, I staked out her front yard on several occasions and waited, and waited.... to no avail. Camera shy, perhaps? :?

*They seem to enjoy black oil sunflower seeds.
