Why didn't Collings install it for you, Jim? Just curious!
The wouldn't do it. Believe me, I asked. I took it as they considered it a modification, and didn't want to modify a guitar they'd just built. They really didn't want to drill the 1/2" hole either, but I insisted. I've never seen a Collings acoustic with factory electronics Charlie.

West ... funny how you drilled only the small 'guide' hole ... that's exactly what me and my paranoia did as well! After a few shots of cheap bourbon and 4 hours later, I had to get the job done. Off to Harbor Freight I went and bought a $9.00 reamer. Reaming the hole by hand was not fun ... took about an hour total.
So I got to the 1/2" hole width and proceeded to load my variable speed milwaukee with a 15/32" bit. That gives you the clearance around the hole so you don't 'chip' or damage the finish. Run it slow speed for about 10 seconds are ... you are finished! A perfect job!
The Baggs preamp sits nice and firm with zero wobble. If you drill to 1/2" all the way through, it's still a great fit BUT 15/32" is better😄

No no. The Anthem requires a very small hole to run the wire from the piezo under the saddle to inside the guitar body. I could go look for the size, but off the top of my head, I think it was around 1/16". You drill it right in the corner, bass side of the saddle slot. I didn't have a problem with drilling that one.......I couldn't screw up any finish. Now drilling a 1/2" hole at the endpin, through that finish? I did have a problem with my drilling that one.....so I had them do it.

I must be losing it or having some kind of senior moment day, Ralf. Can you tell me what the URL is that you're using to find this? I get this:

And when I pull down the three horizontal bar button on the right...

No search in sight... :(
Interesting. Obviously Apple shows it different compared to Windows which I use:

As a trick you can enter the serach URL wjich just adds a "?s=" : https://guildguitars.com/?s=

Ralf, thanks!!! I figured it out based on your picture. It's because the width of my window was just slightly too narrow. There's some sort of bug in the site that leaves off the search button when the menu bar is presented as a pull-down. I'll bet that's present in the mobile version of the site too.

Thanks!
