It looks an awful lot like other Guilds I've seen.
Stumbled on one and I have to say I've never heard of it before.
What's the difference....size?

Wait a moment, a M450 are Medium Gauge Guild strings and not a guitar!

Or you got confused by "Billy plays Guild M450" ? Read the line below!

Or do you mean the Mountain W-450 guitar? Mountain was a brand produced by Japanese luthier Momose when he worked for Hayashi Wood Works in Matsumoto duing the 1970's. Mountain was one of the first brands to produce Guild replicas, which were very popular.

Thank you for clarifying. I saw an article briefly and showed a guy hold what appeared to be an F50.
Should have paid more attention. Thanks for putting me straight. I think I'll have a glass of wine.

So, I wasn't crazy.... That looks like it. I can't find what I was looking at but the top guitar looks like
what a saw.

Does Guild Offer strings anymore?
When they did, D'Addario was a primary source for flat top sets. Guild L350 lights were D'Addario EJ-16's with an .025 G instead f the .024 standard in EJ-16 sets.

I'm sure the M450s have a D'A equal as well, just never compared. Guild and D'A have a long history, and Guild was the first maker to start installing D'A's pb alloy as "factory" in '74.

(Edit): Forgot to mention D'A offers the .025pb single to this day. ;)
