I'm assuming this may come out in some "official" capacity, but I'm enjoying the random cell phone videos on YouTube of this event. Keith Richards, Sheryl Crow, Neil Young, Rodney Crowell, and on and on. A surprise appearance by a very delicate looking Kris Kristofferson, too.

Cool stuff!

Okay, here's a little pond of historical information. December 21, 2022, one of Willie Nelson's oldest friends passed away, Edward Dean Kinsey. Willie'and he go back to somewhere around 65 through 67 that I know of.
Back Then Market St., Grange about taxes had his hands full, full of good soon, to soon historical artists such as Willie Nelson. EK and WN would gather up in San Antonio back around the time the hemisphere was being built. Just two buddy sitting around smoking pot and drinking beer; WN smoking reefer and EK drinking beer; you know they were both drinking beer. Anyway, Kinsey gave Nelson, a song he had written. Kenzie never told me how much or deep they went into the cell but at the end of the Conversation Mr. Nelson asked if he could keep it, said he would record it.
Name of that song was "sad songs and waltzes aren't selling this year"...
Eddie Kinsey was a Korean war decorated soldier, he was forever to be my stepdad; Dad back to 1960.

Now Mr. Nelson was born on the 29th, very late in the hourly day. So, because it was 1933 no one stay up past midnight to record the birth of Mr. Nelson, his birthday reads April 30…

little guild' history
recently laid my hands on a 73 – 75 Madeira, by guild, has the flat headstock.

So far as I can tell and I own 15 guitars, this guild import is as smooth as any Martin out there, or Guild'....
Is in immaculate shape!

Welcome aboard, Markus. Sorry to hear about your stepfather passing recently. Sounds like he and Willie had lots of fun in San Antonio together! I'll bet it was tough to breathe in there!

There's some love for Madeiras around here, but not all that much discussion. Most recently, you might've heard that Guild reproduced Bob Marley's Madeira as a signature model, but marketed under the Guild brand. They gave it a solid soundboard, which wasn't true of Marley's original. Anyway, pretty cool stuff. I think some of the proceeds went to Marley's family.
