Thanks acorn. And thanks for everyone's help. I think next I'm going to look for a late 90s hollow electric while they're still affordable. Like an x175 or Starfire. But I want a tremolo so I'll have to keep looking.
The D25 has 7-87 stamped under the serial in the back of the neck which I assume is the mfg date. It's very similar to the Art &I Lutherie which is kind of nice. Both necks are c shape and moderate in thickness. I will say this Guild plays killer in the upper register. Every acoustic I've played gets cumbersome as you move towards the sound hole but this thing is like a shred guitar.
