X-175 SN Question

Hey, I'm going to look at Craigslist X-175 on my lunch break and am away from Hans' book, so I have a favor to ask. There are no pictures of the guitar, so I can't gauge the date from the pickups, but the guy says the SN is 211737 with "SB" somewhere on it. Does this make it a late 70's model? It has too many digits to be a '62, unless he's misreading something. I read Guild used numbers with the digits after '65. Little help? I might save me a drive.

Hi there,

If the seller says the serial # is 211737, then we're looking at an instrument from 1979.
If it's an X-175 and it says SB somewhere on the label, it's probably a Sunburst finished X-175.
