You Tube Guild Sighting In Ogden Utah

Last Thursday at our jam, someone took some video and posted it on You Tube.
I was playing my D55 and another jammer had his Guild.
I think it's a D-37? Maple b&s.
My old JF-30-12 was also there with it's new owner.

This video made me smile. People are the same everywhere. It could have been taken at one of our jam sessions. Same number of people, same middle aged white guys, same songs. You have a much nicer place to pick, it seems. We're usually in somebody's garage or living room. And forget about any wives/girlfriends sitting around.

The funny thing is that many of us have been jamming together for about 25 years.
We started the jam in the early 80's at a park and would quit in the fall, when the cold weather came.
In about 1990 we moved the jam indoors at the Ogden Airport.
We've been pickin there ever sense.

The Bass player's wife had family visiting and they were the people responsible for the video.
We play a mix of Bluegrass, Country, Folk and even Oldies Rock.
Acoustic instruments only, with the exception of the Bass.
