I've had this since 1986. It actually belongs to a friend, but he doesn't have much interest. We used it in our 80's band Lip Service. It has only seen sporadic use since, mostly in the studio.
It is pretty well worn, here's the front and back. I still have one of the thumb rests, the other was gone before I ever saw it:

Here is the three piece neck and the brass jack plate installed by Star's Guitars in 1982 because the plastic one was broken and the jack kept pulling out.

Yes, I bought my first in 1972, an F-414. I still kick myself for selling it. My F-212 sounds almost as good, but the 412 was just so beautiful, the first and nicest curly maple I ever saw.
