Hello! New to the forum! Recently acquired a late 70’s Bluesbird 77 to be exact. The Neck binding has split and the price reflected the issue. Everything else on the guitar looks and sounds great. I have a skilled guitar builder friend in Seattle who will repair the guitar and get her back to the glory days. I’ll share the journey here if anyone is interested. In the meantime, I couldn’t find much chatter about the late 70’s M-75 guitars.. wondering what your thoughts were! Thanks Kellin.

Hello

I’d like to see some before and after pictures. Love a good restoration story.

M75’s are awesome. Here is my old warrior.

Welcome to LTG! Looking forward to reading about your guitar repair and how you like it. I have a '76 M-75CS. It's a fine guitar, but I can't lie, I prefer the S-100 to the M-75. It just fits me better. You'll find I'm the exception as the M-75 is well-liked here on LTG.

Kellin, just remember we expect a full picture spread once you get your M-75 back from the luthier!! Hopefully you took some before sending it out so (as mushroom asked) you can give us before and after pix.
