Oh, maybe I do.. If you can mix in ebony (or rosewood, not sure what you have) dust into your wood glue you can probably fill the slots without cutting veneers (I think that's what you're talking about??) to put in the slots.
It would depend on whether you want 'cheater' lines or not.

I’m using the same type and color of rosewood veneers as the fingerboard wood to minimize any visible lines.
Lines don’t help me a lot as I found that my smushy human finger pads cannot accurately hit the line anyway because my fingertips are broad/flat/smushy so have to rely on ear anyway, not eyes. Just my experience. The lines seem to only help with guiding you to the note you want but once you get there the smushy fingertips means you are off intonation til you fine tune the finger position anyway.

So, lungimsam, are you planning to lay a full length veneer on top of your fretboard to basically cover everything, or are you filling each individual slot. I think I misunderstood your process to be the latter rather than the former. The full fretboard cover sounds like an easier approach, but I hadn't thought of it...

Good luck either way. And, of course, we'll need a picture spread! :D

Filling the slots. I’ll hopefully post pics of the process like I did when I added the pup and changed out the electronics.
