I was thinking that burst was an unusual burst but after looking at Grot's I think not.

I also thought the tone was uncharacteristic but that could be PC speakers and/or using built in laptop speakers instead of 'phones.

The tone is quite nice all things considered.

This fellow musr be a Starfire bass collector, as I have found him elsewhere on youtube playing a different Starfire I than what you see in my borrowed post fromTreem.

I like it when someone else uses it, too! :D Boy, those Darkstars really do give a deep tone! Hopefully, one of these days I could get one of them beautiful vintage Starfire bass! Of course, in a burst! :mrgreen:

I'm amazed that a few early Strfire basses have sold on ebay recently for around $1500, but usually not 100% original. But who cares if the Hagestrom or Darkstars are on it?
