Hello! Does anyone seeing this post own/have access to a 1960s F-30 model guitar and is of a community-minded, helpful nature? I respectfully request that someone measure the guitar in question and provide me with the overall length of the body (like down the center seam of the back, from where the neck heel meets the body to the bottom edge). To repeat: The actual length of the just the body of the guitar in inches is what I wish to know. The reason for my request: I purchased a very nice vinnidge Ess&Ess branded HSC, sold to me as being a case for a Martin 000/OM size guitar (which is 19 3/8ths"). This case accommodates the width of both the upper and lower bouts of the Martin, but is too short for the length of the body of a Martin 000/OM size guitar. My task is now to discover what guitar this case was made for, or will fit. I have long recognized the general similarities between the dimensions of the Guild F-30 and the Martin 000/OM, but perhaps the length of the bodies are different? Let's find out! If you can provide me with the information I seek, you will be the recipient of my undying gratitude! Or perhaps, a Cinderella story will unfold, wherein this case does indeed accommodate an F-30 and you have long sought one for your F-30, in which case (no pun intended) I will make you a sweetheart of a deal! Let's hope! Let's Talk Guild! Thank you!
