Looks identical to mine. Says 66j on top and master amp on the front...mine came w the original cover and I somehow found the original wooden one-button footswitch, from someone else, the same week I bought the amp...crazy, I know...
my amp needs the works. Caps, pots cleaned, grounded 3 prong cable and a new speaker or refurbished original speaker. With that said, the few times I have plugged into it as is...I seem to go straight into auto pilot and the thing sounds amazing, even in the shape it's in ("wow that is ME playing???")
as as for the tone, it is tough to toss amp tone around online...it just needs to be heard. It is the tweedy cream though, no doubt. killer!
