I am not an Instagram consumer, and am not part of the demographic they're going for anyway. But, if it helps the company be more successful, then it's all good as far as I'm concerned.
The accounts are linked. Whatever they post on IG automatically gets posted to FB.The clueless part IMO is that they shared an Instagram-only contest on facebook.
I’m not missing the point. That IS the point I was making. The majority on LTG and Farcebook for the most part are not their primary target audience for the bulk of their new guitar sales.
Very true the current generation doesn’t care much about privacy. When I expressed concern about retail merchants selling individual purchase history data to Farcebook, who in turn uses it to target market and resell elsewhere, my son’s comment was “yeah, so what, everyone does that”.
